Buckland Path – External Decoration

Project Overview

The external decoration works to Buckland Path took place on behalf of Portsmouth City Council. DM Habens acted as principal contractor, utilising our trusted supply chain of sub-contractors to assist us with specialised works. The blocks are used for social and private housing and consist of two detached buildings; one 3 storeys high and one 4 storeys high. The works comprised but were not restricted to the following;

  • Communal EICR
  • Satellite dish/ Aerial relocation and relocation
  • New emergency lighting installation
  • Installation of new electrical cupboard door
  • Installation of new timber shed doors
  • Concrete repairs to the Stairwell, balconies and walkway
  • Brickwork repairs to bin shed
  • Replace damaged coping bricks
  • Repointing works
  • Fencing Repairs
  • New timber palisade fencing
  • Repair and decoration of walkway balustrades
  • Spraying of MDF infill panels
  • Repair and decoration of stairwell balustrades
  • Cleaning and treatment of concrete and masonry
  • Installation of new key clamp railing
  • Installation of new soffits
  • Installation of new EWI system
  • Installation of new IKO waterproofing to the walkway and balconies
  • Installation of new communal noticeboard
  • Installation of new flat felt roofs
  • New timber palisade fencing
  • New timber close board fencing
  • Decoration of new timber doors
  • Decoration of timber fencing
  • Install new balcony balustrades
