Project Overview

At Habens we specialise in working within operational healthcare environments such as Gosport War Memorial Hospital, Hampshire. The works to the occupied in-patient unit took place on behalf of Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and consisted of: –

• Internal Demolition Works including forming new door openings
• New Flooring Installation
• Installation of Whiterock PVC wall cladding to Bathroom & En-Suite Rooms
• Installation of FD30 Anti-Barricade Doorsets with anti-ligature ironmongery
• Installation of Humber anti-ligature windows
• Mechanical Installation Works
• Electrical Installation Works
• Decoration works to comply with dementia requirements

The 19-week healthcare project was managed on site by Site Agent Jordan Lord and Director of Operations Vishal Patel. DM Habens acted as principal contractor, managing the works on site meanwhile specialist sub-contractors completed trades such as:
