Healthcare

Project Overview

Leigh House Hospital provides inpatient acute services, treatment and care for young people who have mental illness and need their treatment in an inpatient setting.

The Works comprised of 2 No. bedrooms being turned into the De-Escalation Room and the Observation room and existing Seclusion room to be upgraded with en-suite facilities. The existing WC was turned into Sluice room and the existing Shower room was turned into WC. In addition to this external groundworks took place to create a new footpath and created a secure outdoor zone.

The works were located on the ground floor of the existing building but secured from the general accommodation as the patients remained in situ for the duration of the works.

The works were carried out between January 2020 –  June 2020, managed by Project Manager Vishal Patel and Site Agent James Hayes.
