Project Overview
The external decoration works to Buckland Path took place on behalf of Portsmouth City Council. DM Habens acted as principal contractor, utilising our trusted supply chain of sub-contractors to assist us with specialised works. The blocks are used for social and private housing and consist of two detached buildings; one 3 storeys high and one 4 storeys high. The works comprised but were not restricted to the following;
- Communal EICR
- Satellite dish/ Aerial relocation and relocation
- New emergency lighting installation
- Installation of new electrical cupboard door
- Installation of new timber shed doors
- Concrete repairs to the Stairwell, balconies and walkway
- Brickwork repairs to bin shed
- Replace damaged coping bricks
- Repointing works
- Fencing Repairs
- New timber palisade fencing
- Repair and decoration of walkway balustrades
- Spraying of MDF infill panels
- Repair and decoration of stairwell balustrades
- Cleaning and treatment of concrete and masonry
- Installation of new key clamp railing
- Installation of new soffits
- Installation of new EWI system
- Installation of new IKO waterproofing to the walkway and balconies
- Installation of new communal noticeboard
- Installation of new flat felt roofs
- New timber palisade fencing
- New timber close board fencing
- Decoration of new timber doors
- Decoration of timber fencing
- Install new balcony balustrades
