Portsmouth Enterprise Centre

Project Overview

The works comprised of the refurbishment and Fit out (Category A) of the centre’s reception area, on behalf of Portsmouth City Council. Acting as Principal Contractor, DM Habens managed the works while utilising specialist and trusted sub-contractors to carry out specific trades. The works comprised of the following;

• New barrier matting
• New vinyl flooring
• New carpet tiles
• Wall redecoration
• Infill walling
• New dividing walls
• New doors and openings
• New internal glazing
• New suspended ceilings
• New reception counter, desk and glazed screen
• New lighting
• New standard and accessible shower rooms
• New cleaners sink
• New joinery
• Mechanical Alterations (Ventilation, Central Heating, Water, Drainage)
• Electrical Alterations (Fire alarm system, Lighting, Outlets, Network)

The 10 week project was managed on site by Site Agent Stewart Macpherson and Contracts Manager Sean Morge.
